"Pleasanton Val Vista Neighborhood"
Val Vista is located in the North
Western corner of Pleasanton, and
is very popular because of its
wonderful
Donlon Elementary
school,
a brand new multi-million
recreation park that is truly a
gem (soccer fields, skate park,
, and its close
proximity to transportation,
shopping (the Stoneridge Mall is a
few minutes away) and services.

It was
built in the late '60s and
early '70s
, and every one of the
about 1,000 homes in the
neighborhood are single storey.

The "Val Vista neighborhood" is
conveniently located close to
highway 680, and close to the
Dublin/Pleasanton BART station,
that can take you to San Francisco
in about 45 minutes.

The neighborhood has been kept
very nicely, and
over the years
owners have updated, or added
baths, granite countertops,
expanded kitchens, etc.
Typical
home sizes range from 1400-1900
square feet.

"Ruby Hill"
Elegant!  Just this single word
captures the essence of the tony
Pleasanton neighborhood of
Ruby Hill.  Nestled on a hillside in
the South East corner of the city,
the neighborhood strives to
preserve the natural beauty of the
original site, by requiring to plant
only the original
oaks, sycamores,
and other native tree species.  The
Jack Nicklaus designed Ruby
Hill Golf course
blends very nicely
into the hill, and the home sites that
back to it offer magnificent views.
The neighborhood is adjacent to
the historic
Ruby Hill winery, and
gets its name from it.

There are about
eight hundred
elegant Pleasanton homes,
the
majority of which are custom built in
a variety of architectural styles
typical of California, such as
Mediterranean, Tuscan, Spanish
Eclectic, Bay Area Traditional,
French Country
, etc.  The typical
lot is half an acre, and homes range
from the low $1 million to more than
$5 million.
Homes currently for
sale in Ruby Hill, Pleasanton.
